Certain products, like air conditioners, require installation by a certified trade professional, such as an electrician. Your Joyce Mayne store can put you in touch with local trade professionals who can install your new products.

For electrical products and appliances that do not require installation by a certified trade professional, we strongly recommend that you carefully read any user manual, installation guide and safety warnings that come packaged with your new purchase.

Tech2

tech2 is an independently operated and proudly Australian owned business, established in 1998. They offer professional installation of home entertainment products, remote tech support and solutions for home and business.

tech2 provides trade professionals to safely and efficiently install your new home entertainment system, TV, computer and tablets. They deliver a wide range of services including:

  • Wall mounting of flat-screen televisions, greater than and up to 75 inches
  • Set-up and installation of all television types, projectors and projector screens
  • Cabinet assembly, in conjunction with television
  • Speaker and soundbar setup and mounting
  • Cable concealment, along with home theatre installation and optimisation
  • Digital TV antennas and Slingbox connections
  • Computer and tablet setup, including wireless services and home network
  • Computer and tablet data backup, troubleshoot and system upgrade
  • Computer and tablet virus removal and single service tutorials

tech2 has been busy installing TVs and other home entertainment gear across the country for over 10 years. In the computer/tablet support space, tech2 technicians are available every day of the week and have been certified by both Microsoft (Gold Microsoft OEM Partner) and Apple (Apple Certified Network).

Support Product Terms & Conditions

Premium Support

This offer is made by Tech2Home Pty Limited A.C.N. 105 020 906 ("tech2"). Subject to law, the supply of over-the-phone computer support services by tech2 to any customer of tech2 ("you") shall be deemed to be made subject to these terms and conditions. By requesting, ordering or otherwise permitting tech perform over-the-phone computer support services for you, you hereby accept irrevocably and unconditionally these terms and conditions. The service contract commences on the date of purchase (as indicated on your invoice), and expires close of business 365 days after the date of purchase. The contract is only in respect of one nominated computer. This offer is available for PC. Services will be carried out over-the-phone or remotely. Residential computer use only.

As part of the service, tech2 will provide you with either a fix, resolution, or recommendation on steps towards a resolution where the resolution cannot be performed over-the-phone, and advice. Excludes in-home visits. This service is available by calling 1300 788 071, Monday to Friday 8am – 10pm and Saturday to Sunday 9am – 6pm AEST (excludes public holidays). 20% additional in-home service discount is valid for the duration of the service contract.

You agree to provide tech2 with all reasonable assistance in order for tech2 to perform the over-the-phone computer support services, and to indemnify and keep indemnified tech2 and each agent, contractor and employee of tech2 ("indemnified parties") from and against all loss (including loss of data), cost, expense (including legal costs and expenses on a solicitor and own client basis) or liability whatsoever incurred by any one or more of the indemnified parties arising out of or in any way connected with the provision of providing over-the-phone computer support. tech2 will observe the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) ("Privacy Act") and not collect, use or disclose Personal Information (as that term is defined in the Privacy Act) other than in accordance with the National Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act. Subject to law, tech2 makes no representation and gives no warranty in relation to any supply of services by tech2 to you. Tablet Support

This offer is made by Tech2Home Pty Limited A.C.N. 105 020 906 (“tech2”). Subject to law, the supply of over-the-phone tablet support services by tech2 to any customer of tech2 (“you”) shall be deemed to be made subject to these terms and conditions. By requesting, ordering or otherwise permitting tech2 perform over-the-phone tablet support services for you, you hereby accept irrevocably and unconditionally these terms and conditions.

The service contract commences on the date of purchase (as indicated on your invoice), and expires close of business 365 days after the date of purchase. The contract is only in respect of one nominated tablet. This offer is available for Windows. Excludes Android. Services will be carried out over-the-phone or remotely. Residential use only.

As part of this service, tech2 will provide you with support help you set up and use your tablet, along with basic troubleshooting with software and email. Services exclude virus prevention or removal, peripheral installation, network setup or other complex tasks where an in-home service may be required. This service is available by calling 1300 726 856, Monday to Friday 8am – 10pm and Saturday to Sunday 9am – 6pm AEST (excludes public holidays).
