Rated 5 out of 5 by mykdwyer from My little bundle of EXCELLENCE!! Upon upgrading from my cybershot 7.2 megapixel camera this week I have been yet again blown away with the quality of the camera. This is really the worlds lightest changeable lenses camera but don't drop it, I really don't think it would survive. With the added NFC I can transfer my pictures to my Galaxy Note 3 straight away and post on Facebook or share the world around. Only thing is its hard to find a well fitting case that is the right size. Either they are to big or to small. But give it time and a perfect case with come for the perfect camera.......

Rated 5 out of 5 by hysaus from An excellent camera in a small body Absolutely love this camera, have upgraded from an old NEX-C3 to embrace the new functions added over the past few generations of this line, such as WiFi capabilities, lower/higher ISO, better sensor. The camera is in a nice portable format and size but packed full of features and performance from an SLR. It has handy features that allow direct sync'ing up to the smart phone or internet and the thing I like most is the new zoom lens that came with it as it's a much smaller version than that of their previous similar lens. The only dislike is that the image stabilisation, which can be a bit annoying when trying to capture low ISO photos in low light conditions. However, all in all this is the best micro 4/3 camera to go for if you are on a budget.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Transter from Stunning camera The ease of use with the quality of photos it produces rivals any DSLR I have owned. The focusing system on this is pretty fast and it also allows me to download applications onto the camera. I love the screen as how it flips and allows me to take selfies. The only thing I would really love and that's missing on this is a touchscreen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mark27 from Cant Beat It This is my first step up from digital point and shoot camera - the photo clarity and autofocus speed are unreal. Features are fantastic and can control via iphone. I have always held off buying SLR because of size - this is the ants pants and much smaller/lighter. Also, don't be sucked in to buying all the expensive lenses - the 35mm f 1.8 (is a bit expensive but worth it) - between that and kit lense, most thing are covered if your not a pro.

Rated 5 out of 5 by XcellenceY from Most compact and portable system camera I believe in "a picture is worth a thousand words" and the Sony A5000 certainly allows me to capture maximum details, anytime anywhere to where my imagination goes. I also believe that the A5000 is currently the world’s smallest, lightest interchangeable lens camera with built-in wi-fi connectivity. I love taking selfies with the flip up LCD screen. So easy and perfect everytime. The A5000 has a built-in pop-up flash so no need to carry around an extra one. I love its' wide ISO range. I found it can produces images with low noise even in low light condition. The full HD movie mode is great, with good resolution. There are 13 scenes. I like using the photo creativity mode where I can see in the LCD screen in realtime. There is also a wide selection of interchanageable lens. The other feature that I love about this camera is the auto object framing, which creates a professional look to my photos. It is especially great for portraits, close-ups or moving objects. In all, I found the Sony A5000 to be a pretty plesant camera to shoot with. It is reasonably comfortable to hold with solid build quality and produces good sharp images. I feel that if you are looking to upgrade from a compact or even a smartphone, this is the camera you would go for.
